Plans for 2008

Key Elements of 2007

Dromineer

For the first time this year we had a new venue in Dromineer and it was a fantastic event. Great venue, perfect layout for RC Sailing and though the wind and the rain were heavy it didn’t deter our skippers who participated at this great event.

John & Andrew at the IOM Worlds

Jeff is used to hold the Irish Colours at international events having represented Ireland at several Europeans and Worlds championships over the years. But this year it was John Morehead and Andrew Crosbie who represented the colours at Marseille - France. Not only it was their first event oustide Ireland but their first international event too. So a big thank you and well done on your first Worlds.

2 New Skippers

For a small class like ours every skipper counts and so having 2 new skippers is good news to us all. Both come from sailing background. Tony Gay joined the RCYC fleet and Richard Morris the Dublin fleet in HYC. Welcome to you both.
