2008 In Review
Plans for 2008

Key Elements of 2008

3 Venues for IOM racing

We now have 3 venues we have used a number of times for IOM racing : Lough Derg Yacht Club in Dromineer, Royal Cork Yacht Club, Howth Yacht Club. This is important as we now have a fleet in Dublin and Cork and hoping to create one in Dromineer.

John Wins National, Andrew wins Southcoast

This is another good news for our fleet as no one is dominating the class and proof is that John won the national title whilst Andrew won the southcoast but with a number of other skippers winning a number of races at these events making IOM racing more interesting and more competitive. Though John and Andrew are becoming more experienced every year they have gained un valuable experience when competing at the Worlds in 2007 in France, representing Ireland and learning lots. This is great to see various skippers wining races.

Chris joins Cork IOM fleet

Another skipper joined our Cork fleet, Chris who had 2 3-dogs designs joined us after Andrew built his boat. He started right in the heat of the action, at our national championships in Dromineer.
